This year the Armenian-British Business Chamber with support of Pernod Ricard Armenia celebrated the 17th traditional Burns Supper. This social occasion is dedicated to the famous Scottish poet Robert Burns.
The evening was flawless. The Scottish symbols, such as traditional bagpipe and dances, national dish haggis and Scottish CHIVAS whisky, as always were irreplaceable elements of the glamorous and entertaining evening.
Burns Supper is a celebration of the life and poetry of the poet Robert Burns, author of many Scots poems. The suppers are normally held on or near the poet’s birthday, 25 January, sometimes also known as Robert Burns Day, although they may in principle be held at any time of the year.
